Day 1
Arrive to Kathmandu (We recommend an early morning flight to allow rest and time to prepare)

A warm welcome as we receive you at the airport and drive you to a palace hotel – Hotel Shanker. We will collect your passport to obtain VISA for Tibet. Late afternoon we will have a group meeting to prepare for the Yatra and collect Down jacket, and Duffle Bags. Welcome Dinner at a Traditional Nepalese Restaurant. Overnight in the Hotel Shankar, Kathmandu.

Day 2
Pashupatinath Darshan, Boudhnath Stupa and Patan Visit

After Breakfast, we will depart at approx 9am to Pashupatinath temple. Proceed for sightseeing tour to Boudhnath and Patan Darbar square. Lunch on your own. Final Preparation for Yatra, shopping, etc Dinner on your own. Overnight stay at Hotel Shankar, Kathmandu

Day 3
Drive to Nylam (12,303 Feet Elevation) Travel Time 5 - 6 Hours

After early breakfast we depart for the Tibet border. Lunch at the border. Clear Nepali customs/immigration and a 15 minute walk across Friendship Bridge to Tibet where the Chinese border police will check passport & visa. Here, our land cruiser awaits (4 yatris plus a driver per vehicle). 30 minute drive from Kodari to Zhangmu, where second immigration formalities have to be done. From Zhangmu to Nylam is 3 to 4 hours scenic drive. Overnight at Guesthouse in Nylam.

Day 4
Rest day in Nylam to acclimatize (12 303 Feet Elevation)

After breakfast we will take a small walk through Nylam village. An option for a 2 hour trek for acclimatization or rest at the guesthouse. Overnight at the same guesthouse

Day 5
Drive from Nylam to Saga (14,409 Feet Elevation) Travel Time 5 -6 hours (with Lunch break)-

Enjoy the view of snow capped mountains; we will cross the high pass of Lalung La Pass (5000m) where a magnificent view of high Himalayas can be seen such as Gaurishanker, Shishapangma, and Langtang Himal. We will be crossing the holy river Bhramaputra. Overnight at hotel in Saga. Hot Shower Houses available here.

Day 6
Drive from Saga to Mansarovar (14,954 Feet Elevation) Travel Time 6 - 7Hours (370km)

Today is the most auspicious day for all of us as we will see the first glimpse of holy Kailash and sacred Lake Mansarovar. A lifetime achievement, here we will perform a holy dip, Relax and explore around the Mansarovar area. Overnight in a tent/camp or Guesthouse

Day 7
Parikrama of Mansarovar by Bus/Jeep. Drive to Raksas Lake (14,975 Feet Elevarion)-

Early Morning Havan Puja on the Lake. After Lunch, you may choose one of the options below: Visit Astapad and Nandi Parvat – Additional Approx Cost of $100/4 people/ Jeep (Prices may change) Visit to Tirthpuri - Additional Approximate Cost of $200/4 people/Jeep (Prices may change) Day Trip to Saptrishi Case and Nandi Parikrama - Additional Approx Cost of $200/4 people/Jeep Overnight at Mansarovar Guest House. We will pack our back pack and repack our luggage for Parikrama Days. One Duffle bag per two people is allowed.

Day 8
Parikrama to Dehara Puk (16,404 Feet Elevation) (6-8 Hours walk on fairly flat trail)-

Today, it feels as if the heavens had opened up for us and allowed us to peek inside the world of gods and goddesses. We will walk 18 kilometers through the valley guided by Holy Ganges River on our left and shadowed by Mount Kailash on our right. The feeling of today can only be experienced by one and not described…Have your camera handy to capture amazing views of Mt. Kailash. Overnight in a guesthouse or tent.

Day 9
Parikrama continues to Dolma-La Pass (19,500 Feet Elevation) (10-12 hour)

Hardest but Holiest day of our pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 19,500 ft between two valleys Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal while your steps go closer to the pass. Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation. Parvati-stal and Gauri Kund are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive to Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. Overnight in tents.

Day 10
Parikrama ends and drive to Saga

After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting your arrival. We will continue our drive to Saga and arrive by Evening.

Day 11
Drive to Kathmandu. (6 – 8 hrs)

Early morning, we will depart Saga and drive to border town of Zhangmu where we will clear customs and continue our journey to Kathmandu.

Transfer to airport for safe Flight to home

  • 1. How difficult is trek to Everest Panorama and how can we prepare?

    Trekking to Everest Panorama is an easy trek as compared to others. And our company also provides well skilled guides and potters to help you during the trek. People with weak ankles, lungs, hearts problems may suffer more difficulty on trekking. Well preparation is needed for every trek.

  • 2. What about safety measurements and altitude sickness do the guides and porters have their insurance in Everest Panorama trek?

    Worrying for safety measurements? Our guides having long experience are much professional for handling such issues with various means of safety measurements. For common health issues like: headache, common cold, diarrhea, vomiting, we provide you first aid medicines. In case of being sick in the mountain, Sunrise Adventure Trek will make proper arrangements rescue by helicopter, for this you should have better travel insurance. If our guide and porters may suffer from sickness, they have also travel and medical insurance and we will also rescue by helicopter.

  • 3. What about guide & porter, do they have well training?

    Guides and potters provided to our guests had complete accomplishment of several trainings required for their professions by the Ministry of Nepal Tourism. Having well experience in tourism sector as a guide or potter, make easy to explain all the information required for trekking and can create very familiar environment to the guests.

  • 4. What about communication system during trek?

    As all the porters and guides are well certified by the Ministry of Nepal tourism they can easily understand and speak English languages during the trek. On the other hand, we can also provide you guides and potters according to your own understanding languages.

  • 5. Do I need to give tips to guide and potter and if how much?

    It’s difficult to mention about tipping which is up to your happiness, but guides and potters do expect the tips at the end of the trip. However, normally people can give minimum 10% of their total payment to the guide and porter.

  • 6. What kind of food, drinking water and accommodation do we have on Everest Panorama trek?

    Trek to Everest Base Camp with Sunrise Adventure Trek includes trekking lodges or guest houses as accommodation with twin bed sharing room, if you are in a group and if you are solo traveler, you have private room. Regarding meals, we will have some options to choose like: continental foods, Italian, Indian and Chinese cuisine etc. For drinking water, you can buy the mineral bottles or safe drinking water from hotel either you can bring water tablets.

  • 7. How many hour should I walk per day and what happened if I am slow walker in the group?

    Normally, we have to walk around 5 to 7 hours per day, if you are slow in walk the team leader will professionally manage to you walking with our assistance guide and potter.

  • 8. What about the weather conditions and Lukla flight?

    Firstly, we have to take a flight to Lukla in the morning then we start trek from Lukla but sometimes due to the air traffic and weather problems, the flight may be delayed or canceled. Due to uncertainty of Lukla weather, we are not sure about untimed flight. If there will be frequent weather problem, we do arrange a flight by helicopter chopper and for this you have to pay additionally.

  • 9. What is the limitation of weight to Lukla flight and where do I store my extra bags?

    You can carry 10 kg luggage plus 5 kg hand bag and if you want to carry more than the limit you have to pay extra charges. You can keep your extra bags in your hotel or in the office in Kathmandu.
