Mount Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain peak ( 8163 m/ 26781fit) in the world. We can ascend mount Manaslu from North East Face stepping up to four camps and final summit.  Manaslu is located in the central-western part of Nepal.  Toshio Imanishi (Japanese)  and Gyalzen Norbu (Sherpa) were the first people who ascent to Mount Manaslu on 9 May 1956 A.D. We follow the route of Northeast ridge and follow the crystal white snow to summit Manaslu.   Total about 40 days will be conducted to summit Manaslu. So the Manaslu climbing days will be between 20 to 25 days from Manaslu base summit and back to base camp.

Climbing Mt. Manaslu is one of the best mountains to climb among 8000-meter peaks in the world.  Manaslu is linkage with physical and soul/ spiritual. However, Manaslu is accessible as an easier peak climb among other 8000 meter peaks.

Manaslu Climbing Difficulties

Climbing Mount Manaslu sometimes you may face extreme windy and maybe avalanches due to the heaviest snows. The climbing rote to Mount Manaslu is snow steep slopped up to camp one. Likewise, after that up to the camp four will follow fixed ropes with heavy ice till reach the final campsite.  Once you submit to Manaslu peak can enjoy the massif ariel views.

 Safety measures to Summit Manaslu

Although Sunrise Adventure treks experts guides team will provide extensive safety measures.  Our guide and Sherpa team will fix everything for your safe way of climbing to Manaslu. Our guides are well prepared for if incase of occurring any emergencies. We will first prior to the successful attempt to Manaslu and well aware of your illness, accidental issues, and quick acclimatization and evacuations. Our Sherpa team has frequently ascended to Manasu, Everest, Kanchenjunga another 8000-meter world highest peaks.  Therefore we declare that our climbing Sherpa has well experienced the mountain sickness (AMS, HAPE, HAS).  Thus our aim is to make your Manaslu summit successful.

Manaslu Base camp – Manaslu Base camp is situated in rocky moraine (4800 meters / 15750 fit) so our team will arrange everything before you reach to base camp.

CAMP 1 (5700m/ 18700fit)-    Manaslu climbing camp 1 (5700 m/ 18700) before you submit to camp 1 can have basic and advance training in base camp.  Climb via ice section, moraine, and rocky trails. It will take about 4 hours to reach from Manaslu base camp to climb the first camp.

Camp 2 (6400m/ 21,000 fit)-  Climbing from camp 1 to camp 2 is a technical part and will take about 5hrs. You will climb via step snow and passes two ladders. Camp 2 is located in icefalls and snowy parts.

 Camp 3 (6800 m/ 22310 fit)- Climbing from Camp two to camp 3 will take about 4 hours.  So Manaslu climbing from camp two to three is shorter durations. Ascending way to camp 3 is a windy and cold section part with sunny tremendous mountain views.

Camp 4 (7500m/ 24606 fit) –  Camp 3 to camp 4 climbing distance is about 3 to 4 hours. In this part, the climbers feel a lower level of oxygen. Snow with the heavy part of ice covers in this section.  Steep snow on about a 55-degree slope and this part of the trail is a technical climb.  

Manalsu summit  (8156 m / 26759 fit) – After camp 4 next at midnight ascent to Manaslu. Our Sunrise Adventure treks team will fix everything for the summit to Manalsu. It will be a long day to the summit once you summit and finally back to camp 3 and overnight stay. It will take a minimum of about 10 to 12 hours for summit Manaslu and finally back to camp three

Day 3- Ride from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (1165/ 3822 fit) 6 hrs

Day 4- Trek form Soti Khola to Machhakhola (1330 / 4364 fit) 5 to 6 hrs

Day 5- Trek from Machhakhola  to Jagat (1360 m/4460 fit)  4 to 5 hrs

Day 6-  Trek form Jagat to Dang (2300m/ 7546 fit) 6 to 7 hrs

Day 7– Trek Dang to Namrung (2550m / 8370 fit) 6 t 7 hrs

Day 8- Trek form Namrung to to Lho (3150m/ 10334 fot) 6 to 7 hrs

Day 9-Trek from Lho to Samahaun  (3780m/ 12406 fit)  4 to 5 hrs

Day 10- Rest day at Samagaun  and walking around relax day

Day 11- Trek from Samagaun to  manaslu Base Camp (4700m/ 15420 fit)  4to 5 hrs

Day 12- Rest day in Base camp acclimatization, climbing preparation, training, and final preparation before head to camp 1.

Day 13 to Day 30- Climbing period and finally back to Base camp after the summit

Day 31 – Trek back to SamaGaun  (3780 m/ 12406 fit) 3 hrs

Day 32 -Trek form Samagaun to Namrung / 5 to 6 hrs

Day 34 – Trek form Namrung to Phillim Village ( 2300m/ 7546 fit) 5 to 6 hrs

Day 35 –Trek form Phillim to Machhakhola (1330m/ 31117fit)

Day 36 – Trek form Machhekhola to Sotikhola

Day  37–  Drive from Soti Khola to Kathmandu around in the evening join the last cultural show dinner program in Kathmandu .

Day 38 – Enjoy your extra time before your departure and finally departure to the airport.
